Recently, we saw an inspiring example of the power of community in action when we were approached by a group of young student doctors from the Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences, Amritsar, to explore volunteering opportunities as a team.
Dr. Harsimar Kaur, Dr. Yukti Bellani, Dr. Bhavneet Kaur, Dr. Ishmeet Kaur, Dr. Ashrita and Dr. Harmajot Singh were enthusiastic about volunteering their medical knowledge and learning to help make a difference. Despite the lockdown and the geographical distance, opportunities for collaboration were identified. The young doctors were on boarded as a team to run medical knowledge sharing sessions on diverse health and wellness topics as a part of the Dragonflies Everywhere knowledge and learning webinar series for projects at the grassroots.

Power of collaboration
